The Yellow Emperor's Classic of Internal Medicine - Taisu is one of the classic works of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and is considered an important addition to the theoretical system of TCM, along with the Yellow Emperor's Classic of Internal Medicine (HUNDIJING), which is one of the most important documents of ancient medicine. It mainly records the research of ancient medical doctors on human physiology, pathology, diagnosis and treatment, covering core concepts such as meridians, internal organs, qi and blood.
The Taisu has many similarities with the Suwen and Lingshu in terms of content, but has unique insights and ways of elaboration. The book contains a detailed analysis of yin and yang, the five elements, the four seasons of health, and the causes and mechanisms of disease, which has had a profound impact on the development of medicine in later generations.
The existing edition of this book is relatively rare, but it is still an important source for Chinese medicine researchers to explore ancient medical thought, showing the profound heritage of traditional Chinese medicine.
